Watching you run is the best way to assure that we help you select the perfect shoe for your own biomechanical needs. Using forward, side and rear cameras and taping your stride, we can playback and show you your specific mechanical needs and suggest the right shoe and fit to enhance your performance and comfort. During walking and running the foot and ankle move through a combination of pronation and supination. These are normal motions that enable the foot to absorb shock and propel the body forward. However, when too much or too little motion occurs, greater stress is placed on the leg and the rest of the body. Foot and ankle biomechanics can be broken down into three main categories: Neutral Pronation, Supination, and Overpronation. The direction and amount of motion of your leg, ankle, and foot determine which category you're in. Neutral pronators and supinators should wear neutral shoes; overpronators should wear motion-control shoes or stability shoes.
