Cross-Country Team Photos from the 2007 USATF National Club Cross Country Championships: Click Here. Each fall, the Seattle Running Club fields a cross-country running team that competes in local, regional, and national meets. (See below for photos from the 2005 nationals.) All club members are welcome to represent the club at local and regional meets such as those listed below; please wear your black Seattle Running Club singlet at these races. If you want to be entered into races, need a singlet, and/or have other questions, please email Scott McCoubrey (searunco@aol.com).
A squad of seven open men and seven open women was selected to represent the SRC at the national club cross country meet in San Francisco, CA on December 9th, 2006. The SRC provided airfare and hotel accommodations for these runners. Of the seven available berths per team, five were awarded based on each athlete's two best performances from the four selection races (Sundodger, Western Washington, PNTF, and NW Regionals). The other two slots were at-large positions filled at the discretion of Scott McCoubrey. In addition, the club fully funded masters runners' hotel rooms and airfares who made the trip to nationals.
