Running is a natural movement the body is designed to perform smoothly, although today's lifestyle contributes to unnatural postures and movement patterns. With some guidance, running can again be more efficient, pain-free and enjoyable. The Stride Perfection Service is a running-form review combining four-camera, slow motion videotaping and F-scan foot pressure mapping. The video cameras provide quality of movement information while the F-scan measures force distribution of the foot through all phases of the stride. Scott Jurek performs all phases of assessment, review and instruction. The service incorporates three 90 minute sessions to include ongoing analysis of form, stride recommendations, stretching, strengthening, and drills: • Session one includes overall assessment, foot type and shoe wear reviews to provide specific fit and footwear selection, introduction to running posture, upper body movement, and stride rate. • In session two, Scott starts with a review of session one and then moves on to assess and instruct lower body movement and stride length. • Session three allows for a complete review after you have had time to incorporate changes and make improvements.

The service is intended to assist anyone interested in making running more enjoyable and efficient, while improving performance and decreasing injury. RATES Each of the three 90 minute sessions is priced at $165, totaling $495. Scott encourages clients to pay for all three sessions at their first appointment. When doing so they will receive $50 discount on the total package. Cash, checks made payable to Seattle Running Company, and credit or debit cards are accepted. PREMIUM TRAINING WITH STRIDE PERFECTION A one-month Premium Training Package may be combined with the Stride Perfection Service for a total price of $745.
