Book signing with Gerry Lindgren

Former Olympian Gerry Lindgren will be at the SRC on Saturday, September 17th, 2005 at 3pm to sign copies of his new book, Gerry Lindgren's Book on Running. Books (sold at full price) will be available at the store. Everything else in the store will be sold at 20% off to SRC club members and 10% off to all other attendees.

Lindgren, originally from Spokane, was one of the most electrifying distance running prodigies ever to lace up a pair of spikes, setting a high school record for 5,000 meters that lasted for 40 years and claiming a total of 11 NCAA championships while in college. Despite an ankle injury, he placed 9th in the 1964 Olympic 10,000-meter race.
